good practice to recheck screw torque after initial cut
-Always keep screw threads & base of screw head coated with
anti-seize
-Replace screws when worn or stressed
-Index inserts before excessive flank wear or chipping occur.

-Hold insert in place
-Tighten screws until each one makes light contact
-Alternate tightening screws several
times until screws are tight.

-Hold insert in place, chisel points to front & rear, flattened
corners to sides
Flatted points are to
prevent installing insert backwards.
-Tighten clamps until each one makes light contact
-Alternate tightening screws several times until screws are
tight.
